Tuesday, September 29 at 5:30 p.m., we’ll gather to paint orange rocks with messages of recognition, remembrance, and affirmation in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Participants will be encouraged to take their rocks into the community and place them in visible locations as a small but meaningful reminder of our collective commitment to truth, reconciliation, and change.
September 30 is a day to honour those who have been affected by residential schools and to remember the children who never came home. Reconciliation goes beyond remembrance. It calls on us to learn, listen, take action, and work toward meaningful systemic change.
