In honour of the survivors who have experienced Sexual Violence we will be gathering for a free filling spaghetti dinner closing out Sexual Assault Awareness month.
Elise Fisher will also be leading a creative activity while we gather.

Though we've been talking about body image for years, we still cannot escape societal pressures of fulfilling an "ideal". Let's examine what these pressures are, who benefits, and how we stay healthy under the weight of all that tension.
SAAM Rally: Standing Silent Witness
Rain or shine, we will be gathering in the square on April 17th, from 12-1pm for Sexual Assault Awareness month. "Standing Silent Witness" is an event for all survivors and allies, which visually highlights how victims/survivors are silenced after experiences of sexaulized violence. Join us from 12-12:30pm to chat, grab a warm drink, and explore resources. From 12:30-1pm, join us with shirts or posters sharing stories, affirmations, and messages protesting sexual violence, to stand in silence, together. Please dress for the weather! 🩵 #SAAM #StandingSilentWitness

SAAM: Support Poster and T-shirt Crafting
We would like to invite people who wish to attend the SAAM Rally on April 17th to Lilac Place on April 10th, to make support posters and T-shirts.
Lilac will provide all materials, but if you are looking to upcycle a T-shirt of your own please feel free to bring it.
