Strike the Patriarchy
Join us during on drop-in hours on February 10th from 10am-12pm for an educational bowling event!
Strike down pins that have stereotypical statements on them that contribute to violence against women. With each pin you knock down, participants are asked to challenge the stereotype to receive a prize!
The more stereotypes you challenge, the more prizes you can choose from!

Let's Talk: Trade Your Favourite Winter Recipes
Do you have some favourite foods you like to eat in the winter specifically? Bring your cook books and recipe cards. We will photocopy them and share.
If you are someone who is plagued with food sensitivities, this might be a good place to get to know others who also can’t eat all the foods and share your resources.
Or maybe you know someone who has a sensitive belly and you never know what to feed them.

During this month’s workshop, we will explore Black poetry in honour of Black excellence, acknowledging with respect and gratitude its foundational role in shaping modern culture.

Shrinky Dink Workshop
Have you ever made Shrinky Dink crafts? Not sure why it has that name, but the basic premise is that you draw on large pieces of plastic paper, then cut out your drawing, put it in the oven and then watch it shrink.
