The Village
The Village is a network, and a space to develop skills and learn from each other. Consisting of an average of 2 events per month, hosted by anyone in the community who would like to share knowledge or an idea, with the help of a program facilitator at Lilac. These are easy to engage activities that could include paint by numbers, vegetable canning, game nights, charades. You may need to preregister for some of these workshops, so that we can make sure everyone has enough materials.

Drop In
Twice a week our community is invited to drop by and hang out. Sometimes these drop ins are themed, or activity driven. We provide coffee, tea and snacks, as well as colouring materials, good company, and good conversation. See our calendar of events to see when Drop-ins are happening.
Lunch and Learns
A welcoming space to learn, share, and connect over the noon hour. These lunchtime gatherings feature invited guests who bring expertise and lived experience from the feminist, wellness, and mental health spheres.
Each session offers a chance to explore ideas that nurture both personal and collective growth. From discussions on self-care and boundaries to conversations about equity, community healing, and systemic change, our Lunch & Learns aim to feed both body and mind.
Sessions are offered in person at Lilac Place and online for those joining from home or work. Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your openness to new perspectives — all are welcome..
