    One on One Support

Meet with our staff for individual support in navigating local systems and services. This program is open to women and gender-expansive individuals who have experienced gender-based oppression or violence. While we’re not therapists or counselors, we’re here to listen, offer guidance, and connect you with helpful resources and supports across Cumberland County.

    Peer Connection

Join peer-led, closed-group programs designed for women and gender-expansive people with shared experiences or support needs. These confidential spaces foster understanding, coping skills, and connection — helping participants find strength and healing through community.

Drop In

Twice a week our community is invited to drop by and hang out. Sometimes these drop ins are themed, or activity driven. We provide coffee, tea and snacks, as well as colouring materials, good company, and good conversation. See our calendar of events to see when Drop-ins are happening.

Lunch and Learns

A welcoming space to learn, share, and connect over the noon hour. These lunchtime gatherings feature invited guests who bring expertise and lived experience from the feminist, wellness, and mental health spheres.

Each session offers a chance to explore ideas that nurture both personal and collective growth. From discussions on self-care and boundaries to conversations about equity, community healing, and systemic change, our Lunch & Learns aim to feed both body and mind.

Sessions are offered in person at Lilac Place and online for those joining from home or work. Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your openness to new perspectives — all are welcome..
