** December 6th marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, honouring the 14 women whose lives were taken in the 1989 École Polytechnique shooting in Montreal. Today, we remember them and acknowledge that violence against women and gender-diverse people continues in many forms. At Lilac Place, we remain committed to supporting survivors, raising awareness, and working toward a future free from gender-based violence.
